David has been a professional actor since 1988 when, after appearing in an amateur film called “Self Service” he won the LeHeden Trophy for best acting performance in a competition that was worldwide. He won the same trophy a year later for his performance in “Undercover”. The following year he won the Lilly Rose Bowl for the best acting performance in “Time and Time Again”.
His career has so far been mostly television and film although he has made two professional appearances on ‘stage’ in the west-end smash hit “A Slice of Saturday Night”, playing the part of Eric “Rubber Legs” Devine a night club owner, and Eddie, in “Tango” a play written by Mrozek and adapted by Tom Stoppard, performed in Hammersmith, London. He has made various stage appearances with his business partner Keith Loring for “Between the Lines”. He has also completed a very successful tour of Swansea’s junior schools in a piece called ‘The Carpenter’s Shop’, with the Children’s theatre company, ‘The Constructive Construction Co’.
David’s television credits are ‘Casualty’ for the BBC, ITV’s ‘The Bill’, ‘Peak Practice’, ‘Soldier Soldier’, LWT’s ‘London’s Burning’, Channel 4’s ‘Teenage Health Freak’, BBC TV – Screen One ‘The Great Kandinski’ and Screen Two ‘Loved Up’, ‘Crimewatch’, ‘999’, ‘The Legacy of Reggie Perrin’, ‘Close Relations’ for the BBC, as well as Crimewatch Update. Walt Disney – Buena Vista Productions ‘Stick with me Kid’, a TV series called ‘Call Red’ and an episode of ‘Goodnight Sweetheart’. He has 2 feature films to his credit, ‘The Boston Kickout’ directed by Paul Hills and ‘Monarch’, directed by John Walsh, a period piece about Henry VIII. He has being seen in three commercials made for the Discovery Channel – ‘Animal Planet’.
Now the Lord has lead David and his team in a new direction. David and his team founded Worship Radio 247 which provides Worship 24 hours a day by the clock of a button. You can listen at www.worshipradio247.org. This radio station will fulfill part of the mission statement. It doesn’t stop there however, as David and the team are producing a brand new 30 minute TV show called ‘Worship TV’. As has been remarked, “It does what it says on the tin”. Worship in Spirit and in truth on TV.
Before forming David Aldous Media Productions, David directed and edited two documentary films, ‘The Church without Walls’ and “Taming the Tiger” made for sale and broadcast around the globe.
