Born in 1953 and raised in a Christian home, the son of an itinerant preacher, Bill Partington made a commitment to follow Jesus Christ from the age of 10.
Following a career in sales Bill was ordained in 1992 and spent the following 2 years traveling as an itinerant preacher in the UK, India and the Philippines. In 1994 he began distributing copies of United Christian Broadcasters’ daily devotional, The Word for Today, to churches he was going to and events he was involved in. As a result he was first asked to become a voluntary representative for UCB – before beginning to work full-time for them in Feb 1995 – promoting the ministry and building the distribution of The Word for Today and database of supporters.
Having been the Promotions Manager, Corporate and Ministry Relations Manager, Head of Ministry, Executive Assistant to the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Bill is now Head of Strategic Ministry Relations. His primary responsibility is to build and maintain the relational links between UCB and key national and international ministries and leaders – for the mutual benefit of UCB, other organizations – and, primarily, the Kingdom of God.
Bill is also President of the Board of UCB Portugal, a member of the board of Equip UK (a subsidiary of John Maxwell’s ministry Equip) and a Member of the Order of St Leonard. He and his wife, Therese, have been married for 33 years and they have two sons and one daughter. In their spare time Bill & Therese raise financial support for Village Evangelisation of India Mission.
